Bulletin of National Institute of Geology and Mining, Bandung was published quarterly by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia, abbr. LIPI).

The Bulletin is obtainable free of charge in exchange for scientific publications.

The Bulletin of National Institute of Geology and Mining was the first scientific publication of Research Center for Geotechnology (was NIGM or LGPN - Lembaga Geologi dan Pertambangan Nasional) issued since 1968. The newer publication of "Riset Geologi dan Pertambangan" started to get published in September 1977 to accommodate manuscripts written in Bahasa Indonesia. Since then, RISET had replaced the Bulletin of NIGM in publishing the research papers mostly from researchers in the Research Center for Geotechnology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences.
